We could have made it all the way to the coast last night - but we decided this was far enough. Camping municipal Vibraye is a simple camping, certainly not 5-star, but well kept and with everything including washing machine and a Carrefour supermarket within walking distance. The man at the office speaks no English and we've basically forgotten the French we learned in school, but we somehow managed to check in, understand how the washing machine works, ask about drinking water etc. We have no idea what the town looks like, but there is a well kept swimming pool and a modern looking gymnasium next door. We can hear the kids playing in the pool, a happy sound!
We were tired - again - last night, so decided not to set the alarm this morning. It's so quiet and peaceful here, that I didn't wake up until 9:30. Very unusual for me. As soon as we're done here - dishes, empty the toilet tank (yuk) etc we're off to the coast and then our vacation starts for real!
