I've been having health issues - my IBS is acting up - which leave me totally exhausted and drained of energy in the evenings.
We thorougly enjoyed Bergen, such a vibrant town. The first day in Bergen we managed to get a parking spot centrally. Wanted to find a Fiat Professional to take a look at the creaky noise, but they were too busy.
We saw the City Museum, very interesting. Jens checked out the boats in the harbour while I of course checked out "Husfliden" - for folk costumes and handmade stuff. We were a bit overwhelmed by all the tourists - lots of people and narrow alleyways is not a good combo.
Yesterday we took a guided tour of the hanse-museum. Good guide, very interesting. We both thought we knew about the Hanse, but we learnt a lot of interesting stuff. The weather was pretty awful, I was freezing, so we popped into a very touristy Sports shop and bought a down vest and woollen socks. I totally love both!
An early evening in our RV!
We left the camp site later than we'd planned today. J has to do a lot of the practical stuff which means everything takes longer. I'm not happy about it, and try my best to help out.
We are now on our way to Runde, a small island sothwest of Ålesund with a very large colony of puffins! We hope to take a boat safari tomorrow or Monday. Yay! Tonight we are staying at the harbour of Utvik. Today's journey took us over and around hilltops, breathtaking views, lots of sheep, goats and cows! And rain. Rain, rain, rain.
See the seagull on his head?
